Join us on Thursday, June 1st at 8:00 a.m. for a day of golf at the Links Golf Course, Isle of Palms, a Fazio Favorite - Only $175. Tee off will be at 9:00 a.m. This year, TMA Southeast, will be using the "Stableford" scoring system for a new twist on the tournament.
Stableford is a scoring system used in the sport of golf. Rather than counting the total number of strokes taken, as in stroke play, it involves scoring points based on the number of strokes taken at each hole. Unlike traditional scoring methods, where the aim is to have the lowest score, under Stableford rules, the objective is to have the highest score.
The Links Golf Course was Tom Fazio's first. Today, it's newly renovated and still among his favorites - and he's not the only one. From the rustling palms lining lush, rolling fairways to a finishing hole overlooking the glistening Atlantic Ocean, the Links Course is South Carolina golf at its finest. Practice facilities are located across from the Links Clubhouse and include a driving range, chipping area and putting green.
